September 29, 2019 – French President Emmanuel Macron accompanied by The Minister of Solidarity and Health, Agnès Buzin, has come to mark a new stage in this hospital project by symbolically laying the foundation stone of the construction site..

“It’s not a promise, it’s a start.For 8 years the decision has been taken in principle.I owed you continuity and a renewed ambition.It is the only site in the territory where the state is carrying such an investment in its entirety,” said the President of the Republic.Emmanuel Macron also insisted that this project will bring jobs “for several hundred Guadeloupeans”.
